AWIN Seedling Mix
• A blended and enriched product perfectly suitable for seed germination and production of seedlings in nurseries.
• Base is made of cleaned, optimally decomposed (aged), washed, buffered and pH adjusted coir pith. (our buffering is a unique, slow exchange, mineral based process, superior to usual calcium nitrate based process). Additives are imported peat moss, superior perlite and beneficial microorganisms. Product is enriched with starter nutrition (NPK & balanced micronutrients) for quicker and stronger seedling establishment.
• Available in loose powder form that does not damage its open cell structure.
Usage :This is a ready to use product. Just open the bag, fill germination trays / pots and sow the seeds. Water as required. The product contains starter nutrition enough for initial few days. Follow nursery practices as required.
Customization :We can modify any specification to suit customers' requirement. We can also customize bag size and printing (customer's logo etc).

AWIN Potting Mix
• A blended product specifically formulated as a planting / potting mix.
• Base is made of two components - Coir pith and Cocohusk chips.
(A) Coir pith is cleaned, optimally decomposed (aged), washed, buffered and pH adjusted (our buffering is a unique, slow exchange mineral based process, superior to usual calcium nitrate based process).
(B) Cocohusk chips are made by machine cutting coconut husks into small pieces. They retain the inner fiber intact. These chips are spongy yet do not slump or shrink much, they resist microbial degradation & fungal attacks and therefore retain the original characteristics better over long periods of time - even years. Cocohusk chips are unique because they have high water holding capacity as well as high aeration. By properly choosing the size of chips and blending ratio, one can achieve desired water and air holding capacity in the media.
Our Cocohusk chips are cleaned, washed, buffered and pH adjusted (our buffering is a unique, slow exchange mineral based process, superior to usual calcium nitrate based process).
Coir pith and Cocohusk chips are suitably blended in different ratios to achieve different textured media. The standard offered varieties are :

AWIN Cocohusk Chips
Cocohusk chips are uniformly cut and processed pieces of coconut husk that are extensively used as media for growing various plants in pots and plant beds and also as plant/tree mulch. The chips provide ample aeration and drainage, helping plants establish excellent roots. They also resist microbial growth and slumping/compacting thereby providing long usage life of upto five years. Cocohusk chips can be a superior & eco-friendly alternative to tree bark in most cases. AWIN cocohusk chips are made by machine cutting of mature cocunut husks, followed by cleaning, sieving, washing, buffering(our buffering is a unique, slow exchange mineral based process, superior to usual calcium nitrate based process) and drying to required extent. - Small (SSS) : About ¼"(6mm) - High water holding & low air filled porosity- Suitable for plants that require high moisture in root zone.
- Medium (SS) : About ½"(12mm) - Medium water holding & medium air filled porosity - Suitable as general purpose media.
- Large (S) : About ¾ "(18mm) - Low water holding & high air filled porosity- Suitable for plants that require high aeration in root zone.

AWIN Grow Bags
• These are ready-to-use plant grow bags, filled with our AWIN Potting Mix - General purpose. The bag is designed to be the planter / pot. AWIN Grow Bags are very convenient for growing of vegetable / ornamental plants. They can be re-used after a crop, by topping up the Potting mix & treating for pests/diseases, if required.
• The bags are made from UV resistant, co-extruded (black inside and white outside) polythene that has an average life span of 3 years. The bags are double gazetted & heat sealed.
Standard sizes available are :
(A) 8 LV : 8 litres of AWIN Potting Mix, vertical (standing) bag, suitable for one plant of average size. Bag size :LxWxH :15 x 15 x 20 cms (6"x6"x8")appx
(B) 16 LH : 16 litres of AWIN Potting Mix, horizontal (sleeping) bag, suitable for two-three plants of average size. Bag size 15 x 20 x 100 cms (6"x8"x39")appx.
(C) 20 LH : 20 litres of AWIN Potting Mix, horizontal (sleeping) bag, suitable for two-three plants of large size. Bag size 18 x 22.5 x 100 cms (7"x9"x39")appx.
Usage : This is a ready to use product. In case of 8LV, open the top and put the plant. In case of others, cut open slits on top side of the bag as required and put the plants. Water as required. Drain holes, if required, can be made by puncturing the bag at the bottom. The product contains starter nutrition enough for initial few days. Follow standard cultivation practices.
Customization : We can modify the size of the bag specifications of the AWIN Potting Mix or blending ratio to suit customers' requirement. We can blend other additives like imported peat moss, neem cake/powder, vermi-compost etc., as required. We can also customize bag printing (customer's logo etc).

AWIN Coco Rooting Plugs, Cubes & Coco Pots
• These are molded products, made from finest quality, processed coir pith and treated natural binder. The product is soft & spongy with open cellular structure. It has excellent balanced water and air holding capacity. Binder holds all particles of coir pith together, so there is no loose powder.
• The product is molded into many shapes and sizes to serve as rooting plugs & pots.
• Plugs are used for seed germination as well as for rooting of cuttings & tissue cultured plants. Pots are used for extended keeping of seedlings in nurseries, or, for full growing of plants (as regular planters).
• There is no damage/shock to roots during transplantation.
• Delivers excellent results because of constant and balanced air and water holding, air pruning of roots, uniform structure

• For seed germination in plugs / cubes : Wet the / cubes thoroughly with clean water and place them in appropriate trays for support. For germination, place the seed inside the hole provided (You can make the hole bigger if required by scooping off excess material). Pinch a small piece off the plug from the edges and cover the seed with it. Water as required. The product contains starter nutrition enough for initial few days. Follow standard nursery practices.
• For rooting in / cubes : Wet the / cubes thoroughly with clean water and place them in appropriate trays for support. If required, make the hole in the plug bigger as required by scooping off excess material. Insert the pre-treated cutting into the hole. Water as required. The product contains starter nutrition enough for initial few days. Follow standard nursery practices.
• For growing in pots : Wet the pots thoroughly with clean water and place them on appropriate support. Transfer the rooted seedlings into the pot by placing them in the hole provided. If required, you can make the hole bigger by scooping off excess material. Water as required. The product contains starter nutrition enough for initial few days. Follow standard nursery practices.

AWIN Coco Climber Sticks
• AWIN Coco Climber Sticks are used to support plants, in place of moss sticks.
• AWIN Coco Climber Sticks provide excellent anchorage for the aerial roots of the plants, allowing for profuse and healthy growth.
• These are essentially AWIN Coco rooting plug material, retaining all its positive attributes, but molded into hollow cylindrical shape pieces,which can be placed one over the other with a pipe or rod of required height at the centre.
